The History of Buckingham Palace.

From Private House to Monarch Residence.



Buckingham Palace initially was a house belong to Duke of Buckingham built in 1703.    In 1761 King George 111 bought it for his spouse Queen Charlotte.  In 1837 it was officially became the residence British monarch on the accession of Queen Victoria to the throne.

The beautiful promenade toward the British Royal Residence.


This Royal Residence have 775 rooms with 78 bathrooms.


Changing of The Queen Guard is a public attraction to this historical palace.


In front of The Buckingham Palace located 25 meter tall Victorial Memorial.  If  Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal for his wife Mumtaz Mahal vice versa King Edward VII  suggested this monument for the memorial of Queen Victoria.


The statue of Queen Victoria designed in 1901 and completed in 1924.
