The Malay Traditional Wedding Attire.

The Unique Malay Wedding Dress.

Malay is the largest ethnic in Malaysia.  Malaysia is a multiracial country as a result of British intervention in The Malay States in South East Asia, in the nineteenth century.  In this entry I wish to share the Malay traditional wedding dress.

I in a wedding attire going to my bride's house. That was in 1983.

My second son on his wedding day in 2016.

My niece Dr. Noraishah Bt Abdul Aziz on her wedding day in 2013.

My uncle married in 1980.

My nephew Dr. Farid bin Mohd Sahar with his wife Dr. Wan Aishah Atiqah nuptial year in 2013.

My eldest son wedding took place in the year 2011.

My sister in law son got married in 2002.

My wife sister daughter wedding in 2001.

This is a vintage moment, my uncle wedding took place in 1956.  If you are observant about the wedding attire you can see a Malay dagger.  The dagger or keris in Malay is part of the male suit. The dagger is the symbol Malay authority.
